Waratah Aboriginal Centre

We highly recommend a visit to the Waradah Aboriginal Centre in Katoomba. With live performances, showcase artefacts from all over the Australian continent, Bark paintings and sculptures from Arnhem Land, Tjunpi basket weaving, and hand carved Maruku sculptures. Plus you can see original authentic Aboriginal artwork from many places around Australia; including Papunya, Yuendumu, St Teresa and Utopia.

Mayfield Gardens

Mayfield Gardens is a bit of trek from Katoomba (1.5hrs) but if you don’t often get the opportunity to get to the Blue Mountains and have a keen green Thumb Mayfield Gardens is well worth the visit.
