Need to get away with the girls and looking for a new location you haven’t been to before?

woman friends on coffee break at cafe, cheers with coffee

Mollymook on the South Coast of NSW is a location many have not yet discovered yet it has so much to offer the discerning girls group.

From celebrity chef restaurants to idyllic view wineries, from beaches meant to be walked each morning to cute caravan coffees on the way this location offers the perfect girls getaway for a special birthday, hens weekend or mothers group escape and we’ve mapped out the perfect schedule for you, all you have to do is book it in.

Where to stay?

Enjoy comfy beds, a hot spa, a delicious generous brunch platter, a Delonghi coffee machine AND a massage by staying at Venus Getaways. The location of this house is just a 4 minute walk to Rick Steins and is perfectly placed in a quiet location between Mollymook and Narrawallee Beach. The beds are to die for and the kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm should you be tempted. Although with Rick Steins and the Rooftop Brasserie a mere walk away it is unlikely you will.

To do? We recommend:

Day One:

On your drive down from Sydney take a break at beautiful Berry to enjoy the stores, linger over coffee and brunch at The Garden at 103 Queen Street – tables in the garden outside.

Check in to the Venus Getaways house and we recommend ordering their optional Antipasto Platter – delicious and generous.

Walk down the hill to The Rooftop Bar and Grill (bannisters.com.au) for Cocktails and maybe some shared King Prawn Linguine.

Stroll home in the fresh sea air

Day Two:

Sleep in ( or jump in for an early spa)

Tuck into your beautiful brunch and make a delicious cappucino at the house

Take a 10 min drive in to Milton for some meandering in the boutiques, homeware stores and grab another coffee

Enjoy a massage and spa at the house

Freshen up with a shower and don the dresses and heels for a dinner at Rick Steins – simply delicious seafood

Day Three

Take a walk to Narrawallee Beach and then all the way along the beach to the lake

Grab a coffee at “Hello Huey” caravan on the way

Take a 10 min drive or taxi to Cuppits Winery – enjoy a wine tasting the cellar door

Take a picnic rug (provided at the house)

and enjoy the views on the lawn, tucking into woodfired pizzas with a wine or beer flight or a cocktail if you please

Retire to the house for some board games and an early night (or not!)

Recommendations:

Book well in advance of your stay both restaurants through Bannisters.com.au :
