There are so many things to do on the Blue Mountains whether you are away for a Girls Getaway, a Mums Getaway, a Hens Weekend or just away with family or friends. Here are just some below. We do recommend you book well ahead to ensure availability. Make sure you mention you are staying with us at Venus Getaways as many providers have special rates with us.
Need transport so you can drink at the restaurant or maybe to get to see the sights? or maybe get all of you from Sydney and back again? Blue Mountains Limousines & Vintage Cadillacs based in Katoomba offer a wide range of vehicle options from caprice sedans, stretch limos and 16 seater buses for the larger groups.
Nestled in the beautiful Megalong valley, surrounded by towering sandstone escarpments, Dryridge Estate is a stunning boutique vineyard 20 minutes by car from Blackheath, the nearest Blue Mountains township.

We highly recommend a visit to the Waradah Aboriginal Centre in Katoomba. While you’re on this fantastic weekend away why not really let go and try your hand at painting. Pinot and Picasso have set options and you never know your dates might just line up or you could book them in for a private class. An afternoon or evening of letting go with friends and glass of wines sounds just perfect no matter the season.
Mayfield Gardens is a bit of trek from Katoomba (1.5hrs) but if you don’t often get the opportunity to get to the Blue Mountains and have a keen green Thumb Mayfield Gardens is well worth the visit.
There’s always something to do in the Mountains if you feel like venturing out. Check out the Events page to see if any Blue Mountains events coincide with your stay.
