It has been a couple of years like no other for the hospitality industry. For our last newsletter for 2021 we wanted to start with a thank you to each of our guests, newsletter subscribers, followers on social media and anyone who supports our business in any way. Continue to organise getaways girls!  if our lockdowns and restrictions have left us with anything it’s how precious time with our friends and family is taken for granted.

In this last newsletter, we are highlighting our Beaches Mollymook property in Mollymook. In the last few weeks, the South Coast of NSW has become a hive of activity once again as visitors from all over NSW head to visit the spectacular beaches, lagoons and rainforests of the region amongst quaint villages. Read on for the features of one of our beloved properties perfect for your next small group getaway!

Beaches Mollymook

If you are visiting from Sydney, getting to our Mollymook property is part of the fun as you travel along one of NSW’s best road trips. Make sure to stop at Berry for shops such as The Berry Tea House, Haven & Space, Few & Far as well as the famous donut van. During May to November a stop to see whales at Husskinson is a must followed by a short trip down the road to Hyams Beach to walk amongst some of the world’s whitest sands before the last leg of your trip to Mollymook.

Once you have checked-in to Beaches Mollymook, it’s time to relax. Just short walking distances to beautiful beaches such as Mollymook Beach and Narrawallee Beach as well as one of our favourite eateries, Rick Stein’s restaurant.

The South Coast is surrounded by some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, make the most of those at your doorstep with walks along the beach and swimming in the crystal waters. Take a book, relax on the soft sand and enjoy a couple days of being “off”.

A short walking distance away, a meal at Rick Stein’s is a must for each visit. Start salivating over the sample menu here. (We’re partial to choosing one of the seafood dishes, they are always culinary masterpieces made with the freshest of seafood.)

Included in your package at Beaches Mollymook is a self guided tasting in the beautiful fresh air of the garden of the winery at Cupitts Winery, Brewery and Fromagerie.

Takeaway by the beach

At this time of year, we are all so busy. At the end of busy days, the last thing we feel like doing is prepping and cooking dinner and doing dishes. Take the night off. Head to your local park or beach, pickup some takeaway on the way and enjoy the night off!

Enjoy every last minute of your weekend away at the beach, pack yourself a wet bag to throw your swimmers in for the trip home. Keeps everything else dry in your luggage and no excuses for last minute swims!
